HISTORY
1975
Wah-Wah Electric was established in 1975 and was the first electrical contractor company in the Kulim district.
1998
Wah-Wah Electric was renamed Wah-Wah Electrical Sdn. Bhd. under the registration of the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM). Wah-Wah Electrical Sdn. Bhd. is an electrical contractor company registered with the Energy Commission (ST) to carry out electrical work in accordance with the requirements of the Electricity Supply Act and Electricity Regulations.
2014
Wah-Wah Electrical Sdn. Bhd. began accepting students from government skills institutions to undergo Industrial Training. Later, the company collaborated with the Training Institution of the Department of Manpower (ILJTM) under the Ministry of Human Resources, namely the Industrial Training Institute (ILP) Nibong Tebal in a smart partnership in 2015.
2016
A subsidiary was established and named as CMX Electrical Engineering & Industrial Supplies Sdn. Bhd. which supplies electrical goods and hardware as well as electrical works to Kulim environmental factories. CMX Electrical Engineering & Industrial Supplies Sdn. Bhd. also provides opportunities for students of skills institutions as well as technical universities to undergo Industrial Training or internship. CMX Electrical Engineering & Industrial Supplies Sdn. Bhd. has changed its name to CMX Engineering & Industrial Supplies Sdn. Bhd. in 2019.
2018
Wah-Wah Electrical Sdn. Bhd. was awarded the Strategic Partner Award by the Ministry of Human Resources at the Strategic Partner Award Ceremony held in Putrajaya.
2021
All affairs of Wah-Wah Electrical Sdn. Bhd. and CMX Engineering & Industrial Supplies Sdn. Bhd. involving Technical, Training or Industrial Training have been consolidated and managed by the Technical and Training Division. In the same year, Wah -Wah Electrical Sdn. Bhd. and CMX Engineering & Industrial Supplies Sdn Bhd were also awarded the Quality Management System Certificate (ISO 9001: 2015) by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
